This is a short film about skateboarding made by a skateboarder. I documented everything during the past two and half years, sometimes intentionally for cinematic purposes, but more often not. I always have a camera with me, so whether or not I am along on an adventure involving skateboarding, I've been fortunate to capture the spontaneous. This video is much a product of coincidence from time spent at home in Illinois and abroad in the skate Mecca: California.
After a long winter with temperatures creating an arctic apocalypse, I am very much grateful for the coming spring and past experiences in warmer places. It's easy to take the simplicity of sunny days and teeshirts for granted... except many of us are on a seasonal deadline.
